Welcome to Mourne Stars Speech & Drama.

My drama classes give every pupil the opportunity to shine in their own unique way, while developing skills in speech, drama, and the performing arts. These experiences build confidence, creativity, and communication skills that provide lifelong benefits and lasting memories.

Students are taught in a fun, supportive, and safe environment by a professional, fully qualified Drama and Performing Arts teacher with over 18 years of experience and training. Each class is designed to inspire, encourage self-expression, and help every student reach their full potential both on and off the stage.

When a child is given space to be creative and their imagination is supported, this helps to builds their confidence and self-esteem. The confidence gained from taking part in drama classes will help with all aspects of life!
Speech and Drama enhances verbal and nonverbal expression of ideas. It improves vocal projection, articulation of words, fluency with language and persuasive speech. Listening and observation skills are developed by playing drama games, being an audience, rehearsing, and performing.
All classes take place in a fun, safe environment with a clear child protection policy in place.
Not only are acting and drama classes a whole lot of fun, but they also give children a platform for expressing themselves along with an outlet for their natural creativity. It also provides a major boost in self-confidence!
Creative drama can help children learn about emotions, problem solving, and relating to other people. Through their experiences with drama, students develop their imagination and their ability to solve problems whilst developing empathy for others.

Clare is the founder and lead teacher of Mourne Stars Speech & Drama. With 18 years of experience in teaching and performing, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every class.

Clare has a genuine passion for nurturing creativity and confidence in her students, and she loves sharing her enthusiasm for drama and the performing arts with each pupil, inspiring them to explore, grow, and shine on stage.
